http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARDVTPVLhcM   Here&#039;s a video of Kenny Drew Jr. playing one-handed.  He&#039;s got the strong upper joints you were talking about, but plays mostly on the pads of his fingers.  It almost looks like he has an extra joint on each of his fingers.  Certainly works for him though!</description>
