Cool Folks to Follow

line

Here’s my answer to Twitter’s “Follow Friday” which always seemed rather chaotic to me. These are cool folks I follow on Twitter, and perhaps you would like to as well! Many I know personally, and some I’ve never met. Please add your thoughts and “follow” recomendations in the comments below:

@pianopeter – That’s me. I find myself utterly fascinating.

@PMMusicLive – My St. Louis concert series. Sometimes I write the tweets, sometimes others in the orginization.

@KmartMo – my lovely wife Kelly; she doesn’t say much, but always has an update and link to her excellent wine & food blog

@DianneReeves1 – She tweets about music, travel, cooking; I especially enjoy quotes from her mom Vada!

@pubdef – St. Louis Alderman from the 21st Ward and technology enthusiast. Gave me my first iPad review via twitter the other day.

@timlefebvre – Hilarious posts about his travels, musical projects, etc. Tres witty.

@mcbridesworld – cool music stuff, Phillies and Eagles news and views, and lately, music trivia contests!

@1WorkinMusician – Saavy and long-time tweeter about his life and musical endeavors. I think I first saw a list like this on his excellent blog last year.

@syberspace - Great and prolific tweeter. Always into something cool, and comes up with the best # run on sayings (#whateverthosearecalled.)

@chriskbeyond – Beyond Housing CEO who always tweets profound stuff with a conscience about the great work his orginization is doing.

@checkoutjazz - Follow WBGO’s Josh Jackson if you want a serious pulse on the jazz scene in NY and elsewhere.

@thegloballoop - Updates on their myriad projects, including webcasts of PM Music. Stay tuned!

@MayorSlay - Mayor of St. Louis, he tweets personally a lot. And always kind enough to promote my local shows to his followers.

@garyvee – Wine guru Gary Vaynerchuk. Always has LOTS to say.

I’ve got MANY more – I’ll try and update this each Friday.
